The Kukkein overall is made of firm organic cotton and it has a relaxed, straight fit, and it is printed in the Unikko pattern. The overall has a pointed collar, a snap button closure, chest pockets, and wide, elbow-length sleeves. There are pockets in the side seams, and in the back a yoke seam as well as an elastic waistband and patch pockets.

Unikko was created by Maija Isola in 1964 and has since become an international icon of print design. The founder of Marimekko, Armi Ratia, believed that it was not possible to faithfully capture the true essence of real flowers in print, which is why floral prints were earlier excluded from Marimekko collections. So, Maija Isola designed Unikko to be an abstraction of a flower rather than a photorealistic rendition. Today, Unikko is a powerful emblem of joy and creativity, seamlessly integrated into Marimekko´s design identity

All orders can be picked up for free from our retail store located at 851 Homer Street in downtown Vancouver.

If an item is in-stock, we'll ship it to you as soon as possible, usually within one business day, unless you request otherwise.

If we don't have an item in-stock, we'll order it in from the supplier. Lead times vary by supplier. In some cases items may be backordered in which case they'll take longer to arrive. Below are the standard lead times:

Alessi: 6-8 weeks
Audo Copenhagen: 4-6 weeks
Blu Dot: 4-6 weeks
Chilewich: 4-6 weeks
Pelican: 8-10 weeks (made to order)
Roros: 8-10 weeks (coming from Norway)
