The Pruukat shorts have a relaxed fit, wide trouser legs, and they feature the Basso pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The pleated shorts have a zipper with a hook and eye closure in the front, side seam pockets, and one patch pocket in the back. The darts in the back waistline give the shorts a snug fit at the waist. There are belt loops at the waistline.

This product is made of a cotton and linen blend, which contains 43% recycled cotton, 34% organic cotton, and 23% linen.

Our shorts are cut using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary. Each item is unique.

Stripes have always brought rhythm to Marimekko’s design language. Maija Isola’s 1973 Basso is a bold diagonal stripe pattern born to take center stage.

If an item is in-stock, we'll ship it to you as soon as possible (usually within one business day) unless you request otherwise.

If we don't have an item in-stock, we'll order it in from the supplier. Lead times vary by supplier. In some cases, items may be backordered in which case they'll take longer to arrive. Below are the standard lead times:

Alessi: 6-8 weeks
Blu Dot: 4-6 weeks
Chilewich: 4-6 weeks
Kartell: 12-16 weeks (coming from Italy)

If your order is not available to be shipped right away, we will contact you to provide an ETA, and you can change or cancel your order if you're not satisfied with the lead time.
